Excursions

The crypt of Fray Leopoldo de Alpandeire is one of the most visited places in Granada, especially on the 9th of February and every month. Fray Leopoldo died on the 9th of February 1956, and on the 27th of October 1969 his remains were transferred to the crypt of the new church, where they rest in a marble sarcophagus, surrounded by a unique and artistic crypt.
